My wife has a friend who lives in a perpetual storm. She’s 45, newly divorced (again), and thank God, there are no kids in this mess. Her behavior is chaotic, and the stories she tells are so wild that everything she says is immediately up for debate.
She finds a new man online every week and sleeps with them before the appetizers are served. Then, just as quickly, she sets rules: constant contact, full devotion, non-stop validation. When they inevitably pull away, she frames it as betrayal.
